Trans Riot – development update

Trans Riot is still in development. An early release was originally expected in 2024.

However, the game was being made in Unity and a number of things happened in the Unity megacorp. They started supporting plagiarism AI, pushing for anti-indie pricing models, adding spyware to unity game installations… After some thinking I decided that I didn’t want to support this.

I decided to migrate all my game dev to Godot. Godot is a free software / open source game dev editor that works very well, but porting games takes a while. This will significantly delay the game, more news when we have it. That goes for the game Granny vs the Anti-vaxx too.

The first game I made in Godot, arcade space shooter Raxxnorian Alliance, can be downloaded on Itch – it’s pay what you want for now.
